the challenge
With residents ranging from young professionals to international students, it was essential for Get Living’s community entertainment to have wide-reaching appeal, whilst also achieving an intimate, friendly atmosphere. The challenge was to attract residents to the on-site venue, located on the ground floor of each building, in order to introduce residents to the amenities on offer and, as a result, to generate business.
With years of experience in event management, as well as insider knowledge of the broader music industry, Laid Bare were tasked with organising the complete package - including event management, live performers, DJs, photographers and videographers - for Get Living’s community entertainment at their East Village site in Stratford.

the results
Community-building has been the central driver for our work over the years, and we quickly saw this expertise translated into results for Get Living. Over 50,000 guests attend our 50 gigs with the company. This was in part down to our securing of popular acts such as E17, Toploader, and Alexandra Burke. Alongside the success of regular gigs, Laid Bare have also organised supper clubs, walking tours, Christmas events, and a summer fete for the company which proved particularly successful, attracting over 2,000 visitors in one day alone.
The full package
Thanks to event management, live performers, DJs, photographers and videographers all being provided under one Laid Bare umbrella, each stage of the event experience was smooth for Get Living. Alongside this, the footage gathered by our professional team of photographers and videographers has time and time again provided high quality content for the Get Living site and social media. With strengthening community the core driver for Get Living’s events, they were a natural pairing for Laid Bare’s community-centred ethos.
