Alessia has been releasing since 2019 but has struggled to find her audience and get traffic across to her Spotify. When she came to us, her previous 6 track EP ‘Sugar’ had a total of 6,800 streams over the last 4 years, she had 969 Instagram followers and 54 monthly listeners.

Our Strategy

As Alessia hadn’t run ads before, we knew we would be starting with a cold audience. In order to start capturing data we ran a Social Growth campaign. As budget was tight to begin with it enabled Alessia to begin building an audience without breaking the bank. Our strategy was to build off the back of this campaign to run two Stream Surge campaigns on her following two singles.

Our campaign for Alessia involved a highly hands on approach. With a weekly call we were able to help keep her Organic content on track and create more visuals for the Ad content when needed.

Our paid strategy began with our Social Growth campaign where we optimised for Instagram Profile Visits. This started to build a picture of who her audience was and the types of people who were engaging with her music. When we launched the subsequent Stream Surge campaign, we were able to retarget this ‘warm’ audience, knowing we were targeting people who had already enjoyed Alessia’s content. Both singles using our Spotify Growth approach triggered the Algorithmic Radio and Discover Weekly playlists.

Results across 3 singles

⭐ 119,941 streams

⭐ 7,339 saves, 6,868 Playlist adds

⭐ Monthly listeners increased from 54 to 24,787

⭐ Instagram followers increased from 969 to 12k

⭐ Spotify followers increased from 187 to 660

⭐ Our targeted Ads reached over 253,711 people with 8,000 Unique Link Conversions directly leading to Spotify Streams over the course of the campaign
