Building up to the release of his hotly anticipated debut album 'The Company Of Strangers', Our Man In The Field plays his first full band show of the summer at the wonderful new Clapham Library.

“Modern words to a vintage soundtrack”

You could be forgiven for thinking you've heard Our Man In The Field somewhere before. He records live with his band just like the best of his influences; Neil Young, Van Morrison, Credence Clearwater Revival, Ryan Adams and Wilco. His own sound is undefinable but familiar and has been compared to modern day artists such as Ray LaMontagne, Damien Rice, Foy Vance and Joe Purdy.

The live album has been described as uncompromising and the show promises to be just the same. His journey to this point has been full of twists and turns, all reflected in the songwriting and performance. He's found some of the most talented musicians in London along the way and together they create an evening of rare magic and intimacy unlikely to be found anywhere else.

Support will come from Mulca. An alternative folk artist, hailing from Clapham Junction and recently signed to Black Butter (Sony).

Laid Bare always presents the best from the up and coming London music scene. We have a limited amount of Early Bird Tickets available, and please note that tickets will be more expensive on the door.
