Laid Bare's newest signing - singer-songwriter Sula Mae - will be launching her debut EP ‘Blind’ at this month's Laid Bare At The Ritzy!
Described as having "More soul than a shoe shop"; ‘Blind’ was born after Sula Mae first picked up the ukulele to use as a release for an awkward situation with a male colleague!
A self-taught musician, who is influenced by the jazz greats: Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone and Aretha Franklin. She used her voice to sing how she felt, and thus the songs were born. Considering herself ‘greedy with genres’, she combines her catchy pop melodies in a trip-hop vibe.
She will be joined on stage with a stellar supporting cast that evening, including Polly Money & Martha Bailey Music and we'll be kicking off from 7.30pm
